Oil free air compressor maintenance

- Disconnect the power.
- Disconnect all airlines and remove compressor from the enclosure.
- Remove all screws (1) that fasten the Cylinder cover (2) to the compressor housing
- Carefully separate the Cylinder cover from the compressor body
- Carefully separate the valve plate assemblies (4) from the Cylinder cover.
- Replacing the Cup seal
- Replacing a cup seal(3), remove thescrew (1), with a '+' like screwdriver.lift off the Cup seal gland assembly(2)lift off the Cup seal (3).
- Remove any debris from the valve plate wih water-free, alcohol. (Soaps anddetergents should not be used due to the potential for corrosion from soap residue).
- Orient a new Cup seal (3)
- Install O-rings(4) on the connecting rod(5)Install Cup seal(3) on the Cup seal glandassembly(2),Then install together on theconnecting rod(5), Tighten the screw(1) to1.4N.m. Using a torque wrench with a '+' likeattachment
